Giving back is an important part of our family and company.  We support several charities and attend their events throughout the year:

Palomar Health Foundation

Matching people, passions and possibilities with funding opportunities that can change, improve and save lives.  There are many opportunities to contribute to our fabulous hospital on the hill in Escondido: Palomar Medical Center.  Tom is very involved in raising funds for the hospital.  If you haven't been on the guided tour of the facilities you must email him.  The tour will show you all the different amazing places for healing inside Palomar Medical Center...even the helipad!

Falcon Ridge Equine Rescue

A non-profit, humane equine organization, sanctuary, rehabilitation and training center for the horse. Nestled in the rolling foothills of North Valley Center in San Diego County, FalconRidge Ranch was founded in 2002 in order to provide the care, rehabilitation, training and temporary or permanent home to unwanted, abused, neglected or slaughter bound horses. The average number of rescued horses at any time at FalconRidge is over 50. Hundreds of horses have been saved, trained, housed, or re-homed by the equine charity in the last five years.

The Elizabeth Hospice

Founded in 1978, The Elizabeth Hospice is a pioneer in the hospice movement and regarded as the most experienced and largest nonprofit hospice program in the region, with services provided throughout San Diego County and the Inland Empire. With compassion and expertise, our extensive array of care services are available to adults and children living with a serious illness, along with comprehensive support for their loved ones.

Reins Therapeutic Horsemanship

At REINS, children and adults with disabilities learn how to ride horses. This is an intense form of therapy that benefits a wide range of abilities.  Our current enrollment is nearly 200 weekly students who come from all over the counties of Orange, Riverside and San Diego. We also have the help of over 100 weekly volunteers who assist in all aspects of the program. Therapeutic horseback riding benefits almost any disabling condition including: cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, head injuries, hearing impaired, visually impaired, multiple sclerosis, seizure disorders, speech & learning disabilities, and sensory integration dysfunction. The physical, mental, and emotional benefits of therapeutic horsemanship are numerous. The rhythmic motion and warmth of the horse stimulates and exercises the rider’s muscles increasing mobility of the pelvis, hip, and spine. The rider experiences weight shift and trunk mobility as if he were walking on his own.
